「We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). 「Other than one issue spoken about with proprietor, who said some works planned, cannot fault. So friendly, approachable and even small touch like providing a large bowl of hot crispy roast potatoes whilst watching the Wales vs France rugby wonderful. Breakfast really good, bed comfortable nights sleep. Would stay again」

「The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night....
