「Good hotels good service 」

「Stayed for 2 nights with my family. (Just a quick getaway). Our stay included breakfast and the use of their leisure facilities which was great. Our room, whilst a little dated had a modern washroom and was very clean, peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxed and calm vacation. The atmosphere in the bar was great. Food in the restaurant was superb, and all the staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly visit again and...

「I would like to extend a great thanks to the Hafod hotel. Close proximity to attractions, bedroom was lovely, cosy and warm, staff were absolutely impeccable I could not remember names but you all were very hospitable and love your job dearly and did a great service for any request we needed… I even left my bag and they kept it safe. Would come again.」

「The check in was quick and easy, the room was superb and plenty big enough with a writing desk, coffee table and chairs and a superb bathroom complete with a bath. I dined in the evening, the food was first class, as was the service. Breakfast was also excellent. One minor criticism is that an omelette was the same price as a full English. I had that as I wasn't hungry enough for a full fry up but didn't want continental. Parking outside is also problematic. There is some short term parking...

「Parking was easyily found. The check in was straightforward and the room comfortable and clean. The shared bathroom was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with friendly efficient staff. 」

「The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night....

「Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. 」
