「Swimming pool is great」

「Great hotel and a very central location. Staff were lovely, rooms were fab, and the roof terrace bar was fantastic to retire to for pre-dinner drinks. We were certainly able to give our friend an 80th birthday ‘event’ to remember!」

I stayed at this Pub in Dec 25 and the accommodation was booked and paid for weeks prior with a well known and reputable third party. Upon arrival it was questioned whether I had paid for the accommodation and I advised the lady that yes it was paid for already and I showed her the receipt. 「Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience.」

「I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. 「A B&B that I will definitely stay again whenever I visit St. Austell. Warm, cozy and great location (it only takes less than 5 mins walking distance from St. Austell station, 10 mins walk to town centre) it's like going home as owner was friendly and warm, deco was warm and lovely, and most of all, home cooked and wide choice of breakfast was magnificent. I believe it is the worthiest place to stay with all these and amazingly low pricing charged. Big thumb up and highly recommended.」
