「First hostel I’ve stayed in. You guys have set the bar high. Everything from the beds to the amenities were better than some of the hotels and I have stayed at. Thank you so much for taking care of us.」

「The room was good bed was comfortable」

「Staff were friendly. Room was clean and spacious except the bathroom, which was like being on the Cook Strait ferry. Small and combined with toilet. When showering the whole room got wet including the toilet. View of Harbour was nice in the morning with this in the trees outside. Good wifi for online meetings. Towels weren't very absorbent, but there were enough. Felt like a retirement village because that is what it has been in past.」

「Near shopping center」

「Great staff particularly Bree & Noella Room clean & tidy Shops very close by」

「affordable stay, don't expect good service 」

「The Bucket Tree Lodge was quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. There was a bit of a problem with the shower in that it didn't have enough fall and so the floor had to be protected by towels, but the owners were working on having the shower replaced so it won't be an ongoing problem :)」

「It was such a pleasure stay! We were staying with connecting rooms - newly refurnished, nice and clean! The bed was super comfortable ! The waterfront view looking out from the window was a bonus! The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful - offloaded our luggage’s & delivered them to our rooms straight before we got in the rooms! Will definitely come back!」
