The property is overall very nicely located and easy to travel from. It was clean and the bathroom was very spacious. However the service left a LOT to be desired😖! Here are a couple of examples: once when asked the doorman to call us a cab he just pointed to the taxi driving by and said that you will find it there! How unprofessional!! Also we were leaving early for a trip so I asked them to provide some croissants or something to the room ( mind you this is a hotel that does full breakfast) and they refused since it was about 10 minutes before 7 — there usual time😟. In summary facilities and location good customer service bad!

Anthony

The restaurants are great and the gothic cathedral is worth a short visit.  Try to eat at Juan Maria's.  The place has great character and thr roast suckling pig is terrific.  The La Conception across the Plaza is also very good and has a larger menu.

This 14th-century tower was built during a period of feuding by the local nobility. Towers went up all over town - I imagine it must have looked something like San Gimignano does today - until Ferdinand and Isabel gained enough control in the 15th century to force many of the families to lop off their towers. Look for their stubby remains all over town. In later years this tower was used as an armory, and today it hosts the occasional art exhibit.
