"It is pretty basic, but it was SUPER CLEAN, the room was nice and cold, and the staff was amazing. We chose to stay at Ostional Turtle Lodge due to the proximity to the beach where our tour was scheduled. It is definitely off the beaten path a little bit, but that's what makes Ostional such a special place. A short walk to the beach passing a couple small little restaurants made it perfect. Because we stayed so close, we were able to book a tour the next morning and not have to worry about...

However, it is important to note that you must call a day ahead to confirm your booking as the man on duty is not always notified that you are coming... Also, be aware that to get to Ostional and Villas Punta India, you must travel on at least 17 miles of dirt road. Rough drive if you don't have 4-wheel drive (or a larger car)!"

"Rooms had many problems and was shown on Expedia that the hotel had many activities and amenities when in reality nothing was available except just the room and limited dining. Claimed to have pool, yoga, spa and many other activities on the booking with Expedia and nothing was available. Bad experience for my family and I as it seemed everything was falsely shown to us online when making the booking through Expedia. Expedia attempted to contact the property for three days and nobody answered to...

"The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating! Two of the staff members went above and beyond! The food was really good. The room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it. Seemed like the towels and bedding weren’t fresh, they smelled like someone used them. "

The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada.
