「Everything about this stay was excellent, save one key thing: the beds and pillows were rather uncomfortable. Not something that could be addressed immediately by bothering the staff, but something we found ourselves lamenting throughout the days after sleeping on them. Literally everything else was a dream. 」

「Property is decent, got what you paid for. Got food poisoning and was charged $500 in a medical bill. Medical facility and care were way better than expected. Food was okay in my opinion, nothing to write home about, but got the job done. Not much to do on the property besides pool, beach, and small miscellaneous activities. Definitely an older crowd, so it was peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.」

「The apartments are spacious and clean, the balcony/terrace has ample space. The pool is ok and decent size but the jacuzzi was a plus for me because the weather wasn’t the hottest at the time of my travel. The jacuzzi doesn’t get as hot as what I would be accustomed to, but none the less it was a perk. The beachfront view is amazing! Can’t go wrong with breakfast on the beach with a limited yet satisfying menu that offers a traditional Dominican/carribean breakfast or an American continental...

「Balcones del Caribe is a beautiful spot with an excellent location and easy access to the beach. The complex feels very safe, and the staff were always helpful when we needed general information. My only concerns were about the condition of the village: the back door didn’t have a proper lock, the bathroom door wasn’t closing well, and the safe box wasn’t working during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great potential—just needs a bit more attention to maintenance.」
