This is by far the BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my ENTIRE life. You are welcomed by warm, nice staff who look actually delighted to work there and wanting to ensure your stay is enjoyable. They go out of their way to help, give you recommendations, ask about your day / get to know you more, and do it all with a warm smile on their face! The place is STUNNING! Whoever designed the place did a fantastic job. The architecture, art, and style of the hotel is simply breathtaking. The rooms are so comfortable cozy and cold! Highly recommend treating yourself to the room with the private patio and tub. My partner and I had an incredible, relaxing, and fun time here — CANT WAIT TO COME BACK TO PARADISE!

The hotel’s exterior and interior were absolutely stunning but the true highlight of my stay was the exceptional staff. I wish I could remember everyone’s name, because every single person I encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely hospitable. The team members I do remember, Mika, Ramon, James, Tamara, Santa, and Nicolas, were extraordinary. Their kindness, attentiveness, and beautiful energy elevated my stay to a true five-star experience. I had such an incredible time that I actually extended my trip by an extra day. I’m already checking my calendar for the next opportunity to return.

I’m sitting in the airport about to fly home and this is the first morning I wasn’t greeted with smiles and an amazing personal breakfast in the most beautiful kitchen. Absolutely obsessed with this hotel. It’s been a full week since our stay, and I genuinely have not stopped thinking about it. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The property is absolutely beautiful—every corner is thoughtfully designed, aesthetically stunning, and somehow manages to feel both luxurious and welcoming at the same time. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel relaxed and know you made the right choice. Beyond the gorgeous design, what really made our stay memorable was the hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. You can tell there’s a strong culture of guest care here because every interaction felt warm and effortless. Whether we had a question, needed assistance, or were simply passing through, everyone made us feel welcomed. The cleanliness was also top-notch. Our room and all of the common areas were spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in the guest experience and pays attention to the details. And then there’s the breakfast—easily one of the highlights of our stay. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We looked forward to it every morning and were consistently impressed by the quality. In a time when many hotel stays can feel forgettable, this one truly stood out. The combination of beautiful accommodations, exceptional service, cleanliness, and amazing food made for a perfect experience.

Das Hotel überzeugt vor allem durch sein besonderes Ambiente mit einem gelungenen Mix aus kolonialem und industriellem Stil. Die Lage ist hervorragend, nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen guten Restaurants und Bars. Das Personal war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war solide und wurde frisch zubereitet, auch wenn es geschmacklich nicht ganz meinen persönlichen Vorlieben entsprach. Schade fand ich, dass es keine Möglichkeit gab, mittags oder abends im Hotel zu essen, da das Ambiente durchaus dazu einlädt. Verbesserungspotenzial sehe ich vor allem beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für rund 700 € für drei Nächte hätte ich etwas mehr Ausstattung erwartet, beispielsweise eine Minibar oder zusätzliche Annehmlichkeiten auf dem Zimmer. Zudem hatten wir leider Ameisen im Bett sowie Geckos im Zimmer, was den Aufenthalt etwas getrübt hat. Insgesamt ist das Hotel vor allem für Paare und Strandurlauber geeignet. Die Lage und das Ambiente sind die größten Pluspunkte. Ob ich erneut dort übernachten würde, weiß ich nicht, da es in dieser Preisklasse viele attraktive Alternativen in Las Terrenas gibt.

Our experience in El Mambo was a refreshing one! The interior looked simple yet modern at the same time. Our room was well kept; no issues with amenities and the in-room furniture worked well with the rustic plus tropical vibe. Each piece had a purpose which made the room pleasant and spacious. We also enjoyed the pool at the veranda overlooking the beach! Most importantly, staff was warm and helpful as soon as we checked in. It was not hard communicating our needs and requests. Finally, the breakfast staff were attentive, particularly Amber who patiently got our orders and served them well. Food was top notch, we didn't have to look outside for a filling and sumptuous breakfast. Overall, our stay was excellent and would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
