"Hotel is in a perfect location with lots of places to shop around. They have a restaurant in the hotel, which we didn't try but it looked and smelled delicious. We only stayed one night and the room was in excellent condition. The hallways and room doors and beautiful. The front desk was very professional and courteous. Would stay in this lovely hotel again on my next visit to Galena!"

"This is only our second time staying, but we will be back again! Customer service at the desk has been so friendly both times, those ladies were AMAZING! It's connected to an Old Chicago restaurant so there is no need to find a place to eat. Rooms are clean and well stocked. Thank you to all the staff!!"

"I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room I received. I booked a 2 queen with a pull-out couch for 3 people and thought the room would feel cramped. The exact opposite was what I received. The room was very spacious and the pull out was a full couch, not just a love seat. The room also had a balcony where I sat and watched 2 bunnies hopping around in the forested area behind the hotel. Very peaceful! The room was clean and the shower was very nice, until I looked up and saw some mildew on the ceiling. Not much, but it's worth mentioning that the cleaning crew might want to look up in the bathroom prior to finishing their cleaning of any room. "
