I love the ocean view from our room. The beach is not crowded although is kind a long walk from the property but its worth it. We weren’t able to check out the pool and the hot tub. The property is kinda crowded a little because of the construction. But it wasnt to bad. We got the new renovated room but the outlet on the other bed is not working. The breakfast was good. The view is amazing its very relaxing and quite. I would love to stay there again.

There was a lot of construction going on. The rooms we normally book were not available. This was our fourth or fifth time staying here and we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The room was nice and the staff were pleasant however during check in, we did share all the construction on site was something. We were informed the resort fee would be waived as the property did not have the resort feel with all of the construction going on. Also, I requested a room on the third floor however we were placed on the second floor. After a 5 hour drive, we didn't want to make a big deal out of it as we were happy to be off the road. Not sure if we will return next year.

I was upgraded due to over booking which was GREAT. Clean room, friendly staff, pool was great at first, but very concerning because some guests didn't follow the rules by having their pets in the pool and one dog peed on base of the hand rail for the Jacuzzi, glad staff noticed and professionally reminded the guests about the rules. Overall me and my family stay was great.

We liked that our room was newly remodeled and was very clean. The only problem was with the parking because of the dumpsters in the parking lot. We were okay with it because they are remodeling and that is to be expected. It’s going to be very nice once they are finished. We will definitely stay here again.

The property is still under renovation but the location is excellent. The room we had was beautifully updated. It had a great view of the Pacific and the local shoreline. There are good restaurants and shops nearby and wonderful beaches. The parking was a bit crowded in relation to our room due to the ongoing construction but that work is supposed to end next month at some point.

This venue is in transition at the moment, but you can visibly see that the transformation will be positive and will support the existing facilities. The main attractions are the pool and the views–they are both excellent. We also successfully ordered delivery and were impressed with the local food options. I highly recommend this place for families traversing the 1/PCH.

Recent and current remodel underway, but this place was still amazing. Our room was spacious and we'll decorated, with an ocean view. Our 20 year anniversary trip, which we created 20 years ago, with a stay right here. Just as special as before, just newer decor.

This is an Expedia thing. This hotel used to be The Lighthouse Suites but it has now merged with another hotel next door. That is not clear at all when you book on Expedia. Thankfully the front desk was able to move us to a lighthouse suites room. It was not however the ocean view that I booked. The front desk team were super nice and gave us the best room that was available. Lots of construction going on at the property right now. Overall, we still love this place. Have been coming to the Lighthouse Suites for years and will come back again. The pickle ball and games area is great for kids, rooms very comfortable and staff really nice. Little walk and steep steps to stunning beach. We love Ventana grill and Blast and Brew nearby. Just double check you book the right one - it’s not clear at all on Expedia unfortunately.

We arrived to medium level reconstruction and there were no disclaimers anywhere on the property website or on Expedia's website and as of this writing on 5/28, two weeks after our stay, there has been no resolution of the partial refund.

Beautiful location right on the beach, relatively quiet other than expected hotel noises. Breakfast was good and they kept the food stocked during appropriate hours. There were a few ants in the room but I don’t really blame the hotel for that. Overall would come back!!

If you're looking for scenery, this is the place for you! The views are magnificent! The hotel is clean, the staff is super-friendly and extremely helpful. Their main concern is your comfort. Nice breakfast buffet and wonderful grounds, gardens and walking paths. Splurge a little and get a suite! You won't regret it one bit!

This property is in need of desperate renovations. They have started on one end of the property however the wing we stayed in was very warn. Was not worth the price I paid for that room .
