"A pleasant small hotel in a sleepy small town which has a massive Hogwartsesque abbey by the river. A very pleasant place for a short visit. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant."

"This is an excellent historical property. It has been painstakingly restored and is both comfortable and elegant. We really enjoyed our time here, the bed was one of his not the most comfortable that we have slept on in the two months that we've been on the road. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We felt immediately relaxed after a long car journey. The only regret was not being able to enjoy the fine dining restaurant, as we were travelling with our dog. The bistro also in the hotel, however, where we could have our pet had some very good food. Look forward to a third return."
