We loved the Chateau

We absolutely loved our stay at the Chateau. It’s located in the most idyllic setting, so peaceful surrounded by gorgeous countryside, and the chateau itself is wonderful. There was a breakfast spread laid out in the morning too. Couldn’t recommend more.

We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer. The manager was helpful and friendly the room was great and the property was amazing we had the place to ourselves so that made it even more speical

Princess Room

Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. Another English couple were staying in Kings Room and showed us around. Will book that room next time, if possible! Would definitely come back.

Plenty of contact initially by the proprietor which was appreciated. The young girl on arrival was helpful and accommodating. I would prefer not to elaborate on the condition of the room or building in general. But would stress the chic was missing from shabby/chic.

I was always taught not to kick a dog when it’s down, however I feel compelled to write a comprehensive review of the failings of this Château. Whatever the history of Château de la Bainerie it matters not. Those currently in charge of looking after and managing this Château clearly do not have the skills, motivation or mindset to do a good job.

Estaba lleno de insectos de todo tipo especialmente en la habitación moscas y chinches, en el baño la ducha se inundada completamente y se desbordaba el agua para afuera así que había que bañarse en 2 minutos, muchísimo frío dentro de la habitación el toillet estaba roto y no descargaba, todos los muebles sofá, sillones y sillas súper sucios y llenos de polvo y manchas de todo tipo, la cama tenía las sábanas sucias con manchas y los blankets eran un verdadero asco, en el desayuno si no llegas en cuanto lo sirven te quedas sin comer las 4 tostadas, 2 croissant, 2 pan de chocolate y 4 yogures que sirven, para todo el hotel, en conclusión NO recomiendo que nadie pase por lo que pase este alojamiento no debería estar publicado en ninguna plataforma, solo sirve para hacer un house of horror en época de halloween,

Quelle déception !!!! Une demi heure avant mon arrivée je reçois un message me disant que la chambre que j avais sélectionnée ne serait pas disponible donc déclassement sans me consulter..... une fois arrivé sur site aucun accueil... uniquement des instructions par mail en Anglais... Je recupere ma chambre et là stupeur , les rideaux déchirés, propreté douteuse... rien à voir avec ce que j avais choisi. Aucune contrepartie proposé alors que la nouvelle chambre n est pas au même prix... uniquement après avoir exprimé mon mécontentement par mail toujours car impossible de trouver quelqu'un dans la batisse un geste commercial me fut proposer sur un prochain séjour... Bref la carte postale est belle uniquement en photo...

Super sejour

Super expérience avec dépaysement total dans une très grande chambre au calame absolu dans le chateau. Personnel tres sympathique et 2 jolies chiens super amical qui surveille le château. Je reviendrais a la première occasion.

Chambres non chauffées; hygiène douteuse Électricité pas aux normes. Pas d'extincteurs (tout en bois). La commission d'hygiène et sécurité a t elle autorisé l'ouverture de l'établissement ? Nuit finalement passée dans un autre hôtel !!

La Bainerie pas automne/hivers

Château au calme avec une belle vue sur la campagne environnante. Un intérieur au reflet de l'époque avec plusieurs salons pour se poser et une salle à manger vaste. Pas de service de chambre effectué et le ménage devrait être amélioré ainsi que l'entretien, bien que des travaux de réhabilitation soient réalisés. Problème d'écoulement de l'eau d'évier, cheveux qui ne m'appartiennent pas dans la douche. Une porte aurait été plus avisée qu'un rideau de douche. Je m'attendais à mieux concernant le petit déjeuner concernant les mets et leur quantité. Le château n'est pas chauffé sauf les chambres avec un radiateur sans thermostat, je n'ai pas apprécié de déjeuner dans le froid.

Week end rustique à la campagne

Magnifique château mais conditions rustiques et normes sécurité hôtelière non respectées : multiprise dans la chambre et boîtier électrique ouvert. Manque d'aménagement dans la salle de bain (pas de crochets, rien pour poser les serviettes, pas de dérouleur de papier toilette, juste posé sur le lavabo), meuble de salle de bain non terminé, beaucoup de finitions à revoir. Pas de plan d'évacuation affiché (sécurité). Très bon petit déjeuner.
