There is no one 8n the hotel that speaks English , there is a building going up behind the hotel , so they where burning the land , so all the smoke was at the hotel , and then they started construction at 7 am , there is never any sun at the pools due to the pools location, the breakfast you have to get there early we’ll before 9 or there is no food or dishes , the staff does not clear the dishes of the tables , so half the time you have to move dishes away , plus the breakfast was not very good , for North America, maybe for the Russians , not sure , overall very over rated , this is not a new hotel , and the rooms reflect that ,

Good hotel
Overall, enjoyed my stay. I liked the location but crossing road to get to beach sometimes tricky because of traffic. The beach area by the mud bath spa was my favourite for lounging by beach and bar service. There are plenty of restaurants close by and taxis always out front if needed. The free pickup from the airport was great Room clean, great amenities (coffee, tea, 2 bottles, minibar) Downsides: 1) no “Do Not Disturb” signs so housekeeping didn’t know if you wanted room done or not and would inadvertently disturb you. I unfortunately was sick during half of my stay and DID NOT want to be disturbed. 2) the breakfast room was out of control. People were crazy, pushing and shoving. The set up of the breakfast room is an odd shape and too small for the amount of people in hotel. Was so crowded, you couldn’t see where to grab plate or cups. Plus the tables are poorly made, putting your legs under the table impossible if you anyone other than a child or a petite Asian person. The chairs are so ridiculously heavy hard to move them, but this same all over Vietnam. 3) leaving passports at the front desk. I checked out and forgot I didn’t have it with me and was almost an hour away when I realized this and had to pay above my 460,000 Dong another 300,000 to turn back and get it. I had called hotel and advised I was coming back, but was annoyed when I returned all 3 or 4 employees laughed about it. 4). Lobby played loud music night & day

Over all is good , good breakfast , nice staff , location is close to restaurants and night market , hotel has free transportation to drive us to airport ,there is a bikes rental in hotel with very cheap price , only thing is shower slow and weak , sometime has no hot water , also the cleaner lady did not fill up toilet paper

The staff at Praha were amazing from the start. From the airport to our checkout they did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Near the hotel, there are numerous places to eat and it is also fairly close to the beach. We will definitely come again when we're back in Phu Quoc.

Good: -free airport transfer, comfortable vehicle -Friendly staff -Air conditioned rooms Bad: -Shower was very mouldy -Shower has adjacent window into main room, also mouldy and window not cleaned from prior guests -Breakfast is to be avoided, cleanliness of kitchen left much to be desired, disappointing.

Good room size, very clean. Breakfast ok. Location of the hotel is not convenient for people who wants to enjoy the beach, even though the beach is just across the street from the hotel. You need to get access thru a resort which is situated right in front of the beach in order to enjoy the water . That’s because the walkway to the beach has not been completed for the hotel residents. Very inconvenient.

Good value hotel
Rooms were spacious. Courtesy airport pick up and drop off was nice. Breakfast could use improvement. Overcrowded at times, food dishes were often empty and not refilled. Same with cutlery. Not enough food for everyone.

nice building close to main town and beach
located quite near main town of duong dong and about 200m from the beach via a dirt track. room overlooked the pool. floor was sandy during check in but was cleaned thereafter. comfy bed, quite clean. good variety for the breakfast buffet. stayed on 1st floor overlooking lobby. could use more soundproofing as we could hear all the sounds outside the room very clearly

Great value for money!
Phu Quoc is like an undeveloped Maui, and the Praha is a great affordable place to stay while you're there. Ocean view room for three, with a balcony, is only one-quarter of the price of a similar accommodation in North America or Europe. The pool is cool and quiet, the staff treat their guests like good friends, the breakfast buffet is excellent, and I'm coming back next year!

Supernice hotel staff and overall great hotel. Good breakfast and nice pool area. Unfortunately when we had to change room we ended up in one where the previous guests had been smoking inside and the hotel was fully booked so we couldn't change room. The smell was awful. Apart from that they have a fish pond at the front that is to shallow and contains to many fishes for one that size. I would still recommend this hotel as it was really good.

Overall, enjoyed stay at Praha hotel. It’s a bit old but clean. They offer free airport pick up / drop off that was very reliable. Immediate local area was a tad dirty - some garbage / loud construction when you’re lounging by the pool. But it’s easy to get to the beach and if you walk towards Duong Dong, there’s loads of restaurants.

Nice hotel, accomadating staff, great pool. Many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Hotel is situated across a busy road and 5 minutes walk from Long Beach. Although beautiful and lovely clear water Long Beach is becoming overdeveloped. A lot of resorts have private beaches and some areas that remain have rubbish and little shade. We hired a motorbike and were able to visit other beaches such as Ong Lang (beautiful and more user friendly for independent visitors).

Nice hotel, close enough to the beach and nice restaurants. The staff are very friendly however a slight language barrier with some only speaking minimal English if any at all. However, they are very accommodating in understanding your needs and attending to them.

Lovely hotel
The hotel has lovely, helpful staff who were happy to help us with any request. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The free airport pickup and drop off was particularly useful. The surrounding area has a few nice restaurants nearby but would recommend a taxi to duong dong to go to the night market and for more variety in the evening. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great hotel in an up and coming Location.
The hotel us great and can't complain about the facilities. The only downside is that there is not too much going on around the hotel. A lot of building work which means that it's dusty and not the most aesthetically pleasing for the location. However, when the building works in the surrounding areas are i ished it will mean that the overall score for the hotel will be better.

We enjoyed our stay at the Praha. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room would have been beautiful if they had maintained it. You could see that there was water damage from the shower and all they had done was remove the damaged drywall. All in all, would maybe stay here again but would maybe find a place directly on the beach. This is close and we could see the ocean from our room but you have to cross a busy street and walk down to the beach.

Fantastic boutique hotel.
The Praha hotel is lovely and so are their staff. The breakfast is fantastic. Beach access is easy and the water is delightful and warm. My problem is not with the hotel.....it is terrific. It is with the area. There is soooo much garbage along the road and near the beach. Phu Quoc needs to clean it up if they want to attract people and present themselves as a resort island.

I stayed there for 3 days in November. Praha hotel is not near Duong Dong center, but it's very good with quiet place, good service, friendly staff. There are some good restaurants like May and F5. You should ask to rent a motorbike to discover many beautiful places in the island, my experience was great!

Nice hotel, but... couldn't sleep.
Hotel was nice but the location was a little far from the action. Location wasn't much a problem because we were able to hire scooters for decent rates from the hotel to get around. The room was neat and tidy and the staff were very pleasant to deal with. My biggest problem was the airconditioning in the room. I found it difficult to get a good night's sleep because it was so hot. I had it set to the lowest temperature, but it wasn't powerful enough to cool the room properly. It's definitely cooler than outside, but not by much. Also, the power goes out once the card is taken out so every time I returned to the room, I'd have to wait a long time for aircon to bring the temperature down slightly.

A real bargain
It was a very nice stay in Phu Quoc with Praha Hotel. They had free transfer from the airport back and forth. Friendly staff who were always having smiles on the faces, good location which was opposite to the beach and just taking 15 mins to get to the main town. They also had a nice and clean swimming pool.The room was big and comfortable. We stayed there for 4 nights, the room was made up everyday. Breakfast was included in the price which was quite reasonable i think. We definitely will go back to this hotel if we travel to Phu Quoc again.
