「John was kind enough to bring me a fan so temperature was cool at night. I saw many of the rooms that I would have preferred over mine. Great location for doing lots of exploration and very quiet, which I appreciated. I did not care for the basement kitchen area but I used it anyway. I booked through Expedia and found their cost high.」

「The location was as good as it gets: you can see Main Street in Lake Placid. It’s a 2-5 minute walk. Also a 2-5 minute walk to the Mirror Lake trail (2.8 mile loop). 「The room was ok. There was too much furniture in the room for its size. The pillows are like 12in thick and the mattresses dont have protective covers on them just the bottom sheet. The sheets had some staims on them. 」
