Great hospitality and location

Great hospitality in a family run farm in a quiet rural location not far from Peel. Plenty of walks nearby including I to Peel. Peel itself was one of our favourite places on the island as first time visitors. Will certainly be returning.

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Very friendly hosts. Local produce used and environmentally friendly. Lovely views from windows and peaceful surroundings.

Knockaloe Beg Farm is situated just outside the village of Patrick, about a mile and a half south of Peel. It is not served too well by public transport unless you don’t mind the walk from Peel. We didn’t and found the tracks quite scenic and pleasurable. The farm is a very pleasant building and the hospitality was great. We arrived early due to shortage of buses but were still made very welcome with tea and flapjacks.

Perfect Retreat, perfect stay

Our first time in the Isle of Man and what a wonderful place it is. We hired a car to see as much of this stunning place as possible. Knockaloe Beg Farm is the ideal location for so many things and was the icing on the cake. Fiona, John & Family integrate you immediately into the family and you can get as involved in the farm as much as you want, but no pressure if you don't. We helped feed lambs, which was wonderful. There is nothing that they have not thought of for your holiday needs, even a basket of toiletries in the bathroom just in case you have forgotten anything. We will definitely be back & cannot recommend it highly enough

Beautiful location on a working farm with an interesting history. Room was very comfortable with generous en suite. Breakfast was delicious; lots of choice from local produce, including home reared bacon and sausages.

Friendly Farm Stay

My father and I stayed on the farm for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Fiona and her husband have a beautiful guest farm and allowed us to help feed the lambs while we were there. Breakfast was delicious with local products, and the room was very comfortable.

Great place close to Peel

We only stayed here 2 nights, but it worked great as a base for our isle exploration. It's 5 minutes from Peel, a lovely town with beautiful beaches and a spectacular castle to explore with our kids. At the farm itself, the room was very cozy, the classic breakfast was excellent, the farm animals were fun to see, and as I discovered the farm is adjacent to public walking trails, enabling a quick hike to spectacular views of Peel and the ocean, with much longer walks presumably also possible. You probably need a car to get there, though if we were traveling without kids we might have attempted it by public transport: there is a bus stop in front of the farm (1/2mi to the guesthouse) that appears to be served 4x/day in the summer, or you could walk the 2mi into Peel for far more frequent options.

A super stay on a working farm.

Knockaloe Beg is a working farm but also a great place to stay if you want peace, quiet & comfort. You feel as if you are in the heart of the countryside but actually less that 3 miles from Peel. The B&B rooms are clean, comfortable & quiet. If you've forgotten anything - it's probably there in the bathroom!! Breakfast is excellent but I recommend the Blackberry & Aplles jelly on toast! A wonderful warm welcome and a most enjoyable stay.

Wunderschöne Farm in ruhiger Lage

Schafe, Pferde, Schweine, Katzen, frei laufend Hühner und Enten, wunderbares Frühstück, liebenswürdige Gastfreundschaft in familiärer Atmosphäre, gemütliche Zimmer und das alles in Nähe (ca. 5km) zur TT Rennstrecke. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir werden wieder kommen!
