「A very well appointed hotel on the Seafront of Douglas. Staff freindly and restaurant was very good. French style menu. The hotel has kept its early years character whilst implementing modern touches to compliment the decor. 「This establishment is amazing! The rooms are cozy and roomy. If you're visiting for the races the grandstand is just a short walk from the hotel. The island is very accommodating in general but the biggest star of the show is Lucy. She helped me get a bicycle delivered to the hotel for me to ride around on, then showed me where to dry my clothes after the island gave me a free shower. 「Gray little gem in the Douglas, only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre. The staff are wonderful and very understanding and helpful. The rooms and spacious and it’s one of the very last hotel that can cater for a family of 5.! Their restaurant as well is great. Amazing food ! Cannot recommend this place more ! 」

「The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. 」

「Warm welcome, enjoyed delicious breakfast and nice chat with owners each morning. Facilities in good condition and well maintained. Decorated intentionally making guests a home stay feel. Near bus stop and promenade, also walkable distance to main streets and dock. To nitpick, there’s creaky sound walking on the wooden floor.」

「En el mismo Castletown no hay mucho que hacer, pero este apartamento estuvo muy bueno. Llegamos y nos recibió una persona que atentamente nos dio las indicaciones del sitio. 「All the staff were lovely & friendly. The breakfasts were delicious & nothing was too much trouble for them. Miriam made delicious pancakes for our granddaughter which was so kind. Miriam & Robin are lovely hosts & can highly recommend this guest house. 」
