"We liked the swimming pool, pool table, ping pong and gym. Unfortunately our room ‘Paul’ was tiny for 4 people, it was in the attic space so incredibly hot, even with fans, and difficult to access. Only one toilet on top floor to share between 10 people. Did not sleep well at property. The breakfast was fine. Dogs are welcome, but hosts dog unruly and out of control, so my dog had to spend all it’s time in bedroom, when we wanted to use any of the facilities. The host was inflexible. If you do...

"We had a memorable stay at Hotel Grand Barrail. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The entire property is stunningly beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with one of the best hotel beds we’ve ever slept on. We absolutely loved our time here, which was relaxing and rejuvenating, and we hope to return! "

"This is a very central hotel, and at first glance is very much in the traditional mould. However everything is modern, comfortable and works. There's even a pool and the breakfast was very good. "Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention."
