Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.

We had a great two nights stay .. Melanie is great , friendly and helpful ! Staying there is like at home, as you got that kind of family touch … room is spacious and clean , views throughout the vineyards are stunning! Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling.

The Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent.

PERFECT stay in beautiful setting

We spent 2 nights at the Chateau and could not have been more pleased. Mellisa was extremely accommodating and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The garden and vineyards are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was absolutely incredible. The house was very nice as well - a excellent stay throughout.

We had an absolute fantastic time....Melanie went over and above meeting our needs....keeping in touch with me in Canada and suggesting activities and booking a wonderful wine tour for us...she made restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us...the property was amazing ....every need was considered...very nice breakfast outside amongst the gardens...relaxing pool....would go back in a minute....the room was very large and nicely decorated with a super nice bathroom...felt like family...❤️

Exception!

Chateau du Palanquey was the ultimate retreat for us is an exception location. Our hosts, Melanie and Laurent, were amazing and the memories of breakfasts and lunches in the garden overlooking the tranquil vineyards and hills will stay with us until we return. Every detail about this recently renovated Chateau close to Saint Emilio’s was impeccable and we look forward to also enjoying the wonderful spa facilities on our next visit.
