「Had a lovely relaxing weekend in a beautiful hotel 」

「The resort has plentiful facilities and close to the beach. We are in the ocean suite and the room is nicely decorated and spacious The management is not up to a five star hotel standard. Firstly the dishes in the buffet restaurant, Jardim Colonial, were not very clean, some of which with stains. Having said that , the staffs in the restaurant are helpful. Secondly the food variety was not sufficient. Thirdly , on the last day, we went for breakfasts after checking out. We were told to...

「Beautiful high floor apartment, comfy bed, kitchenette, good linen, great view, spacious bathroom. Everything we needed for a short stay. We were 'upgraded' to prestige on arrival, which was fine - i dont usually like staying in hotel blocks but it was out of season and quiet so was great. I had originally booked an apartment. Pools we didn't use but would have done if it had been rainy, we were lucky with the December weather! All the staff were warm and friendly, we had lunch in the cafeteria...

「Lovely clean hotel, close to the beach and centre of old town. Yara Costa and other staff at the hotel were wonderful and so pleasant. Only thing I would say is that if you’re a light sleeper then this isn’t a hotel for you, the bars are quite loud and until early hours of the morning. But the hotel can not be faulted, very clean and a comfortable.」

「The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. 「Arrived early Sunday morning and greeted with a very warm welcome and our room wasn’t ready but advised we would be contacted as soon as it became available. They went above and beyond our expectations and emailed to say that the room was ready When we arrived back at check in they had upgraded our room.
