2/10 Terrible

"I had many issues with this resort. They did attend to all my issues. With that said I will never stay here again. I still can’t believe some of the things I witnessed. But they did try and make things right. The staff at the swim up bar were great. Also most of the staff throughout the resort were nice. Every floor they put me on the ice machines were broken. I had to literally go to another floor just for ice. One time a staff seen me at the ice machine and offered to go get me some ice and bring it to my room because that one was broken like the rest. This place needs a lot of upgrading and to be exterminated!!!!!!!! I won’t even post the pictures I took because I don’t want to freak anyone out. Just be mindful of this place. You have been warned!!!!"

At Wind Chimes Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We were lucky enough to find parking on the street that wasn’t too far away. Upon entering Johanna greeted us and proceeded to check us in. She was friendly, answered our questions and was awesome! Richard also happened to be there as well and was great! Both are an asset to this hotel and made our day. We were given Room 120. Clean, nice, spacious room. Putting the hot water on in the shower was a little tricky but we figured it out and was thankful for it. The pool was nice. We were told it was cold but with the weather it had warmed up. We felt it was at the perfect temperature as swam after sunset. You check out the pool towels at the front desk, then return them in the towel basket and advise them that you returned those towels. It’s in a good location, as it’s relatively close to the beach, there are several restaurants and deli’s within walking distance. You even can go to their sister hotel, which is about a 1/2 block away. Food at the sister hotel was divine. I would stay here again because of the staff working here, along with the location and the short 12 min drive to the airport."

"The pool is excellent, and the cleanliness is excellent. Regarding the restaurants, I didn't get a chance to go in because when I tried to enter one, it was already closed. I think it's a bad idea to close the restaurants at 10 pm, since many people like to eat late and there were nowhere to eat because everything was closed. Some of the golf cart drivers who transport guests would see you walking and wouldn't stop to give you a ride."

"Everything was great, loved our stay here but our drink vouchers were accidentally tossed to the trash by the staff, and accidents happen but when we tried to tell a women at the front desk reception, she was very rude saying it’s not their fault and that their staff wouldn’t throw the vouchers away. We hadn’t used the vouchers, much less taken them out of our room so it was very upsetting. After my fiancé asked to speak to her supervisor because we didn’t lose them, it was the staff who tossed them thinking it was trash left by the sink, she agreed to provide new vouchers but if somehow it happened again she would not give us another voucher. It was just upsetting because we hadn’t used the vouchers and were being accused of losing them, we did not mean to get anyone in trouble but accidents happen, just wish she took accountability and respected us from the start."
