Palazzo Pantaleo is a well kept bed and breakfast. Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed by Giuseppe who was very nice and attentive to our needs while staying in Palermo. The room itself was clean, large, baby friendly (they gave us a crib), had lots of storage space and had all we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast included with our stay delicious and had good variety. Giuseppe and Dario were very helpful in arranging transportation for us to get to where we needed to go. All in all, Palazzo Pantaleo is a place where I would come and stay again next time we are in Sicily and would recommend to friends and family.

Amazing location in the heart of Palermo city. It is not a modern hotel but a well kept traditional property - but it does have a lift! Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable with working AC. Both Giuseppe and his colleague Dario were super friendly and helpful. A typically European style continental breakfast is offered daily. Parking onsite is free - you do have to drive into the pedestrian zone but it’s very close to the top of the street so you don’t have to drive far. Would recommend for short stays.

Staying at Palazzo Pantaleo was like a throwback to an earlier time, before corporate hotels and airbnb. The owner was present and attentive, the room was lovely, the breakfast, served in a small room, was excellent, the staff were very pleasant. The rooms themselves are updated – excellent wifi, and large, renovated bath. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Signor Pantaleo.

Great central location. The room was big and clean. There was some bottled water in the fridge, which was very handy. Breakfast was good, though I would suggest a bit more variety. Parking is available and gated at night. The property feels very secure.

We only stayed one night and honestly it wasn’t the best experience. We arrived at night to find that our rooms A/C was not working very well at all. While the owner did his best to fix it, with the language barrier there wasn’t much he could do so he gave us a plug in fan (did not help much but he tried). The room was pretty outdated, however, it did look like the pictures so we were expecting that. It was generally clean but there were some thing here and there that probably could’ve been cleaned better (the bathroom being the main area that felt it could’ve been cleaner). It was in a great area and maybe if the A/C was working (or we weren’t Americans lol) we would’ve felt a little differently but it was an uncomfortable night to say the least.
