Room was clean and hotel in an excellent location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The room itself was a little dated, but well-equipped with a sitting area and kitchen. Repairs and upgrades are underway - we heard construction during our stay but nothing too disruptive. Housekeeping came every other day instead daily (this may be because I'd booked a Studio instead of a regular room). One night we did not have hot water, but it was quickly resolved once reported to the Front Desk. Overall the room suited our needs well. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there are many cafes nearby.

Very accommodating when I needed a place to stay after becoming unexpectedly ill. There were very few options available and this place was central enough that my wife could find a pharmacy, etc. nearby.

Good location but despite being a large hotel with lots of indoor spaces we were made to put our bicycles in a dark and filthy underground car park. The route to the room was through a back corridor that had the appearance of a service entrance.

Okay stay

Room was larger than expected. Location was great, minutes from the teatro. However, it is a bit outdated. The window was broken and the last night when it was super windy, the window kept opening in the middle of the night and kept us up. Had a terrible night sleep. The bathroom is also outdated with broken toilet seat. The shower pressure was strong, which was nice.

Hotel well located in the city center. Very clean sheets and towels. Large room, but old and dark. There was something black in the corners of the shower floor, possibly mold, disgusting anyway. Minibar empty, and not working until the second day, after reporting twice. No amenities. Very basic breakfast, without variety. No fresh juice or fruits. I had communication with the 6 hotels that I would visit during my vacation in different cities. This was the only one that never responded. They don't give you a map and minimal guidance at check in. Some of the gentlemen at reception are quite unfriendly, they seem to hate their jobs or the guests.

Not so friendly staff. Very bad WiFi, almost non existent. Leakage from the AC and their fix was just to disable the AC so we went from water leakage to a warm/hot room. Breakfast simply OK.

Amazing experience at Albergo Mediterraneo. Right in the heart of Palermo, everything is close by. Big room and great breakfast. I recommend this place and I will come back next time I'll be visiting Palermo.

Budget is the key word

Budget hotel in the middle of town. You get what you pay for. Clean enough rooms with private bathroom and that’s about it. Skip the breakfast as it is the cheapest of the cheap products and the staff at the breakfast is borderline hostile.

A hotel pushing the boundaries of 3 star living

Very clean comfortable rooms with excellent in-room amenities. The hotel staff are quite friendly and the breakfast buffet is very inpressive. It's location near the Teatro Massimo in the old section of the City also makes it very easy to navigate the city.
