「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the historic Palazzo San Demetrio (hotel location is on second floor) with a balcony overlooking the lively Via Etnea. Our high-ceilinged room was very comfortable, and the reception staff very welcoming and helpful. 「Rooms are very clean and well equipped! The historic details were lovely! Host was exceptionally helpful! He recommended a couple of delicious restaurants. These restaurants weren’t tourist trap. They were full of mostly people who speak Italian. That’s the kind of place I like to go when I’m traveling. I always keep my translator handy. Each restaurant did have one person who could speak fluent English. 」

「Great central location for most attractions. For train or bus stations, it takes about 15-20min walk. Luca (host) was easy to reach and gave us information around the area. Only thing to note: the accommodation is on 1st floor without lift, and fewer charging ports that others that we stayed in. But for us is no big deal. 」
