"The resort needs a refresh. It is dated, tired looking and boring. "

"Alec was incredibly accommodating at check in. He made sure we had a beautiful bathtub, and we were super grateful. The room was spectacularly clean, and there are wonderful little touches everywhere at this hotel. We also highly recommend the smash burger, it was absolutely delicious, and hot! "

"What a weird place to put a hotel. It must be busy in the spring when the Night Market starts. The parking situation is terrible because of the Night Market. Pay between $30 and $60 a night. You can try to park elsewhere at your own risk, according to the front desk. We stayed in a signature suite (RM 911), which was large and lovely. The couch was really uncomfortable to sit on and was made of this gross, cheap vinyl. The bed was wonderful and comfy. The only other note was the lack of towels in the bathroom and a bar towel for the “kitchen”. We stayed for two nights, and they kinda felt like just enough for one night for one person. The restaurant was closed, but there are plenty of food options around. Really want to like this place, but the parking was a real bummer during our stay. Oh! If anyone from the city of Richmond reads this. Clean up your streets and the surrounding properties. They are trying to run a classy hotel, and you're doing a crappy job beautifying your “city”. "

"The front staff and coffee shop staff were very friendly and helpful. However, what tainted our visit was the cleaning staff knocking on the door at 8:15 in the morning ! We had completed 24 hours of travel, arrived at the hotel exhausted, knowing check out time was not until 11-noon. Just having got out of the shower, I opened the door to a lady, who unfortunately could not explain what she was knocking on the door due to the language barrier. She then came into the room to "show me" what she was trying to convey. We had not been given a do not disturb sign, so she went back out to her cart to get us one. Whether or not we had the sign up, WHY were they knocking on the door at that early time...hours before check out ? My son did go speak to the front desk and was explained that the protocol is for the cleaning staff to connect with the front desk first, to see if we had checked out, before knocking to confirm entry was ok. Other than that, beautiful hotel and great shuttle service to and from the airport. Will stay there again."
