「The pool area had plenty of lounge chairs, and the music was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. When the safe in my room started making a buzzing noise, maintenance fixed it very quickly.」

「The pool is a big draw. The property is maintained well and everyone is friendly. Everything definitely runs on „island-time“, so just remember that you are on a vacation and have plenty of time. I personally did not enjoy the quite loud life music (of questionable quality) at one of the two restaurants of the property. The adjacent beach is currently swamped with seaweeds and therefore unusable but that is just a temporary condition. Overall, a great stay! 」

「This resort is situated in a beautiful location. The beach is AMAZING. Unfortunately, the resort does not offer a lot of structured activities, so if that's what you're looking for, this may not be the place for you. The buffet restaurant was just okay, but the al fresco dining options are good. The tiles in and around the pools need attention, as does various painting around the resort. 」

「The rooms were spacious, with sufficient storage in the wardrobe. Everything was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The bed was more than adequate, and the shower functioned properly. I was satisfied with these aspects. The room had a north-facing balcony, which I had specifically requested as it was cheaper. 「We really wanted to leave a good review of Villa du Kapress because the staff were so lovely and overall the villa is really nice, we also had one of our best meals here while we were on St.Maarten.
