"I was very happy with how clean our room was. This was probably the most important thing for me. The A/C was cold although i did have to run it full blast all week to keep up, but it never got hot in my room. All the drains actually drained which hasn’t been the case at other places i have stayed. The hotel staff seemed friendly when i spoke to them but we didn’t really need anything from them while we were there. The hotel definitely shows some age from years of being on the beach but it seemed everything worked well that needed to. We didn’t eat at the hotel diner but the live music was tempting and seemed like a good time. This wasn’t a new flashy hotel but served the purpose well for our stay. The beachfront access was super convenient and helpful. Overall I would choose it again if i needed somewhere stay while at OBX"

"The biggest problem we encountered was a climate issue with the room. It was cold and clamy, due to humidity caused by a previous shampooing of the rugs. This is a shame because they did the right thing to maintain the property, but it had an unfortunate side effect. That said, the staff was wonderful in helping us resolve the issue. They promptly gave us a dehumidifier that made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. It was loud, but we liked the white noise it provided! Thank you to the staff for being so helpful 👍😁"

"So glad I found this place! Very convenient location, walkable to the market and you are on the beach. Theres a pool you can use during daytime hours. Everything you need is in the room. My suggestion is to pack some breakfast as there is no place walking distance to grab breakfast, other than 711. Would 100% recommend staying here!"
