Overall exactly as we expected, having stayed in other Residence and Conference Centres. This one is good. Helpful staff, clean room, easy parking. Would recommend for budget conscious travellers.

I had an amazing experience at Residence and Conference Centre- Ottawa West. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The check-in and check-out were smooth. There are plenty of food places nearby. Overall, I had a great experience!

Great location and easy nearby parking. So convenient to have the shopping area so close by - great breakfast places! The front desk staff were helpful and kind, and the stay was just what we needed.

The checkin desk was very helpful. Bedsheet was soiled so we needed to get it replaced. Even though it is a student residence, a coffee machine could be provided when used as a hotel. The parking process is unnecessarily complicated. Hotel guests should not have to pay for parking.

The girl at front desk checking us in provided very confusing information upon checked in regarding parking. I ended up chose the weekend day rate rather than the hotel rate plus discount codes. Our friend checked in after us experienced the same. Better communication is required. Not appreciate her attitute and demeaner. Other staff were very helpful and provided good support and information.

Clean room, nice temperatures within the room, comfortable bed and clean bathroom with hot water shower. I appreciated the kitchen facilities and enormous amount of space for the price. My only complaint was the parking - price of $6.30 per night including tax was fine, location was fine, but the log in process was a nightmare. The staff at the reception desk tried to do it for me and failed initially. It has to be repeated daily and not before 11 pm for the following day. Confirmation was only on the cell phone. And the ritual had to be repeated daily. Parking was done by a private company hired for this by the university. I would have liked to be able to pay for room and parking at the check in desk and be done. This was not possible and detracted from an otherwise perfect weekend stay.
