Excellent location and service

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. However, we thought that both the restaurants and the breakfast were overpriced considering the location and the hotel style.

Very convenient location -- right next to the train station. The staffs were very helpful. My friend needed to rent a wheelchair, and one of the staff went out of his way to find us a wheelchair rental nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent room, kept spotless by cleaning staff. Remember reading reviewer's comment re Carpenters musak - still there. As you only hear it whilst using the restaurant, might not get to hear all the tracks! Direct access to Otsu JR station - 2 stops to Kyoto. Restaurant reasonably priced, good food ...

Finding an hotel in Kyoto in the Sakura season is challenging, besides expensive. The Reiah Hotel at Otsu turned out a great option, is not just nice and comfortable, it also has a good price and is only a block away from the JR Station, it takes like 20 mins to get to the Kyoto Station.

great place to relax and enjoy the onsen. good and helpful staff. far from train station however they do provide shuttle service, you just need to call the hotel to arrange for it. not much around the area for shopping though,
