「The room was clean. Person at check in was courteous, nice. Good breakfast. Sauna and pool are nice. The manager seems grumpy, not friendly. Overall it was a good stay. We'll be back. 」

「The desk clerk was friendly and the room was clean and okay. Kind of what I expected for the area. The walls were thin. The pool is completely drained and unusable. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and it was a false alarm. No clue what would have caused that, but it turned an okay/acceptable experience to a bad one. It prob doesn't happen every day, but it happened during my stay and that's what I am rating.」

「Shower chair was sturdy and easy to use. Shower was accommodating. Im not fond of the flooring as i prefer carpeting in the bed area. It was wonderful to open the window for some fresh air. Room was clean and spacious.」

「Pool was not available, sauna was not available, fitness room was not available, hot tub is not available, when I asked about breakfast the hostess at front desk just walked away from me. So I checked out and went somewhere else. If I could give this place zero stars I would! Two big thumbs down」

「It’s a wonderful property- or once was….needs a million dollar clean up and update…..Staff are wonderful and the restaurant and Rafters Bar are wonderful hangouts in the off season. Nice trails and location. Easy access to Alexandria and interesting check points all around.」

「We had stayed here last November also and you can tell the difference with the new owners. Everything is shaping up nicely. New carpet and everything was spotless. They have a nice breakfast available also. Plan on staying here often as we have a new grandson in the area.」

「Good breakfast, clean room, great bed, fantastic staff heater worked great and was quiet I am a handicapped senior citizen and the staff was above and beyond on all my requests I will be staying here again in the near future thanks to the staff.」
