This hotel should be closed by the Florida Department of Health due to the roach infestation (we killed more than 10 roaches in different sizes - we got pictures). I have never ever had an experience like this in any place, especially in a hotel room, and on top of that, the negligence of employees saying they would charge me for a night because I was leaving that room full of roaches. The hotel also was very dirty, the stairs were rusty and dirty, and the room was bad, including the white tub with the floor black, the radio/clock was a piece of rusty metal the same as the bath curtain and the luggage stand. The room carpet, I guess, never has been cleaned... It was a nightmare because we had to leave with my poor son tired and it was very hard for us to find another hotel. We checked in around 2:00 pm and went out immediately and when we returned around 8:45 pm the nightmare started.

The bathroom shower faucet kept leaking. Internet was poor. Kept dropping. Carpets dirty. Breakast waffles were great. Same options though everyday. Some variety needed. Dove toiletries were nice. Staff were friendly ad helpful.

I lik the location of the hotel. Decent breakfast that is included in the price. Cleaning staff can do a better job. They came to clean one day and we asked to come back in 30 minutes because we were getting ready to go shopping. They didn't come back to clean that day :-(

The room was very clean. TV channels are awesome. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful with a lot of variety. Room amenities are very good. Hallway carpeting could be better. Staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel was very convenient for Universal Studios. They provided a shuttle service. However, the driver left Universal a half hour earlier than was posted. Good thing we arrived early to catch it back to the hotel.

Apparently, they are beginning to remodel that facility, there were storage bins and construction signs, but the property is worn out. I think the staff is doing the best they can with what they got. It was clean, just worn out.

We changed reservations at the last minute because i called the La Quinta i originally booked and the clerk was very rude to me. So we reserved a room at this one and the night front desk clerks were so great. Polite, helpful, friendly and just made us feel welcome. I had to eat the cost of my other reservation but it was worth it to deal with such helpful staff.

Just stayed one night after a long travel day-this place is very dated! It was clean enough and appeared to have been recently refreshed but is showing its age. Price was right but there are much better options out there for me.

You get what you pay for…
Facility is sadly past its prime. From chipped bathtub to ragged carpeting major renovation is needed. We were told major upgrades will be shortly undertaken. May it come to pass. Second area of concern was the limited English language skills of the desk personnel. My question regarding shuttle transportation to the park devolved into a discussion of how many beds were in the room. Not sure how we got there, but the question went unanswered until the next morning with a change of shift.

Place needs to close completely for whatever renovations they claim are happening. It deals of mold and feels damp, beds are very old, plumbing noisy. Table and chairs stained. Upon driving up we thought it was closed. No curb appeal and dim lighting. It’s not worth $100 a night let alone whatever the rates are. Staff always says hello and friendly it’s just very dated and rough.
