We initially tried booking with the hotel to request adjoining rooms. The price was $50 more per day than Expedia - we were denied a price match so we booked with Expedia instead. I noted we wanted adjoining rooms in the special requests section of the booking and Expedia accomodated.
The rooms are non-smoking, however, our room had a ziplock bag with a rubber band placed over the smoke detector - clearly someone was smoking in it beforehand.
Overall the hotel was pretty run down but relatively clean. Could they have done a better job cleaning? Of course, but it wasn't terrible.
Some of us went to a show at the casino and returned around midnight. That's when things went downhill - our direct neighbours were screaming and running around outside our patio doors that one of them had overdosed. I don't know if that was true or a hallucination. They were all completely eratic and also clearly on drugs - ripping apart their car contents, jumping into the trunk, then back out to throw everything back in. The police and ambulance arrived around 1AM.
The neighbors were back around 6AM continuing in a more subdued nature - still erratic behaviour outside but nothing like a few hours earlier.
We were denied any refund or discount since it was a guest and not the hotel causing the disturbance - plus it doesn't happen every night - just sometimes when it's a Friday or Saturday. I'm not kidding that's what they said.
I would never recommend - find somewhere else.
