"Horrible experience. Check in started at 3 and I arrived at 8. I was told my room was not ready and wouldn’t be for a couple more hours due to staffing shortage. The manager only offered to cancel my reservation or call me when a room was ready. My disabled veteran husband started having mental issues so they got us a room quicker. Then our room had no towels. I saw a teenage housekeeper in hall who gave us towels and found out her mom was assistant manager who asked her to come in and help out....
"The bathroom was not clean. Around the tiolet and bathtub had a dirt ring. Dust throughout and spider Webb by the air conditioner. Ice maker did not work and the gym equipment where broken."
"Under construction and dirty, which I was unaware of when I booked. The room smelled awful of mold and mildew. I took out the two air filters and cleaned them. They were packed with dust. I had some lysol spray in my car, which I brought in and thoroughly sprayed the HVAC unit and room to try and remove the smell. The cleaning and spray helped but didn't really improve it that much. Very dirty hotel, but not sure how much was due to the construction."
"We wanted a budget-friendly place to stay in Mason that was clean, had cold A/C, and included breakfast, and this was exactly that!
The building could use some updates, and the gym was limited with a few machines not working. The common areas and elevator weren’t well air-conditioned.
However, our room was clean, and once we turned on the A/C, it was incredibly POWERFUL. Housekeeping refreshed towels, emptied trash, and restocked toiletries daily.
