「Great place fir family to enjoy」

「This is a fantastic homestay location, and called "resort hotel in Thumboly" by some of the local auto drivers. I booked this on an impulse travel through hotels dot com website and fully enjoyed my stay. The owner (Mr. George) and the manager Mr. Shibu were prompt with communication and helpful. Mr. Shibu spoke to the auto driver via my phone call and guided him correctly. Google maps does a solid job too. Location is about 4ish km from Alappuzha railway station and about 2km from main...

「Beach was beautiful- World Class! The room was perfect- great size. Food was excellent with good variety for all. Pool was fun and clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. But remember that you are in a resort- best to go out and do some local shopping to get a real feel for the area. Recommend guests to go out on the beach first light to see the fishing boats come in.」

What I thought could be improved was the cleanliness of the bathroom, the route was in the middle of the lake and large portions of the day was spent simply docked on shore. I would only recommend going for one night. We booked two nights and they gave us a refund for our second night as they did not have enough guests on our boat to take us out and when we asked about the route they said it would be the same.
