「We spent our 5th anniversary there. The furniture in our room had seen better days, which didn't matter to us, other than that everything else was really good. There was a bartender in the lounge on Thursday night 6/11 with a unique name which I can't remember, who was great! We got in late, and decided to have a couple drinks before bed. He made us feel welcomed, and was fun to talk to. He seemed to really enjoy his job. We will be back next time we are in the Superior/Duluth area.」

「It’s very vintage and a historic. So you have to be ok with not having modern furniture and things like an automatic room temp control- we had a ceiling fan and window. 「The hotel was very dirty. The room had not been cleaned in a while with visible dirt, etc. on the walls and floors. There was hair in the bed when I checked in, an old contact on the floor, blood stains on the mattress. The room smelled horrible when we walked in. Do not recommend. It was gross.」
