I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I would say the best I slept in was 10/10. Most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Being able to open the windows was very nice as well. I would go back if I ever go back to Superior/Duluth.

Historical, and I'm glad I stayed there. The bed I was in room #303 absolutely reeked, which honestly wasn't a huge surprise considering its age and how thin the mattress was. Would I go back? Probably I really liked everything else. The restaurant on the first floor for breakfast was top notch, the staff was great and nice to me on anything I needed or asked. A great place but dated and that's okay.

Very old but nostalgic hotel. Very clean and some updated features which made stay similar to modern hotels. The staff was very courteous and professional. They were able to adjust our itinerary and refund for shortened stay. Would definitely stay again.

I loved the vibe of this older but updated hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, parking was easy (and there was a roller rink a short walk across the parking lot - bonus!), and the sheets and bedding were super comfortable. I wanted to take them home with me. :)

The bed was comfortable. The building was old/historic and charming, Elevator was fast. But........The previous peoples or cleaning staffs used wet towels or washcloths were in a pile in the shower. (So I didn't shower) The garbage hadn't been cleaned out. But new soap, cups and towels were there. The toilet needed to be flushed 2-4 times just to get a few squares of toilet paper to flush. Our room faced the street below. There are many bars within this block or two. Whenever any loud people came out, it was like they were in the room with us. The noise came right through the air conditioner and the thin plywood surrounding it. I'm not upset with our stay, but definitely know not to stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed the hotel. Between the price and how old the building is, it was a very wonderful stay. It was very clean, parking was in the back so it was very simple, and the staff was super kind.

An ok place to stay for a week that didn’t break the bank during an unexpected family emergency. We didn’t get housekeeping the entire time, with or without sign would probably be the biggest complaint. Elevators weren’t working on check out, but it was ok. Not super clean but not really filthy either. The staff was nice, AC was a very loud window unit but it was very cold. Family restaurant downstairs is also tasty.

This was a lovely vintage hotel. We loved the history and the location. I would recommend this and would return. We were very impressed at the value. Loved the restaurant attached and being able to walk places downtown.
