"Upon arrival , check in was 3 pm, had to wait 45 minutes for room to be ready. After asking for 100 dollar deposit , card was charged 605. Had to wait 24 hrs for return funds. While traveling for a get away weekend thats not ideal at all. TV only had 1 remote that would not allow me to hook up my fire stick. Room smelled like mold and fabuloso. You had to fuss with the shower valve to get hot water, when adjusting the shower head its wobbly coming out of the wall, Several light bulbs were out. Dog down the hall wouldn't stop barking. Overall for 164$ a night some quality and professionalism is expected thats not what I received at all."

"I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was very clean, nicely furnished and well stocked. The Staff was very professional and helpful .the breakfast was very good and reasonably priced."
"Unfortunately the original room we were given smelled horrible of cigarettes. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and showed me a second room (on the second floor-no elevator FYI). Smelled better but the carpet seemed to be the issue. So the third room did not have carpet and was very clean with no smell. The room was comfortable but the sink would not drain and there seems to be a leak so the floor would get wet when used it. The shower was okay but needed a few upgrades (like getting ride of the pealing paper. We skipped breakfast so no info there. If you are not to picky it’s a decent choice."
"Everything was good only few things which one of them being the pool and hot tub being outdoors we werent able to enjoy them as we should've with our weekend being rainy. Another thing i noticed was the room not being insulated or sound proof enough and we could hear everything from the room next door other than that everything else was good and clean..."
"We didn’t want to pay crazy casino rates, so I booked the HGI. We were welcomed into a big, bright beautiful lobby. Staff were nice at both arrival and departure. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. It was also very quiet for a Friday. The casinos were super close, so we actually did both! Our only regret is that we had such a short stay. We would’ve loved the fire pit and bar area. There is a small pool and exercise room too. I will 100% book HGI again…and again!"
"This Great Wolf resort at Mansantucket, CT looks new and it was newly built comparing to others at Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Though its nightly stay price (including waterpark usage) is quite high close to $350 including tax and fees. Also at this high price, it should already include free parking, small adventures inside the waterpark like roping, mini bowlings and mini golfings, but the charge for parking per day is $25 plus tax as well as the mini adventures were charged separately. Also the Dunkin Donuts inside the waterpark was run without the benefits of the DD chain itself, for example cannot use mobile apps, thus cannot earn points nor use points to claim small eatings. The waterpark restaurant was rated with a low score as well with hardly any customers visiting.
In any case, the resort itself is clean and staff cleaning service was okay. Better strategy is to live in other good hotels outside which provides free breakfast and free parking, and then just buy the waterpark ticket for one day or two day without paying dearly for the resort itself."
"There was only one working elevator out of two when we arrived. The second day of our stay the last elevator broke. This left us having to go up and down 6 flights of stairs. The staff was incredibly rude and yelled at guests when they had concerns about getting to and from their rooms. We checked out early as this was the final straw. I lugged all our bags down 6 flights of stairs.
The room was outdated, but more importantly it was unclean. The chair was falling apart and stained. The couch was covered in stains. The entire room was dusty.
It also “shares space” with an extended stay option that is housing people who are currently experiencing homelessness- which is fine, but was not mentioned anywhere as an option- or we likely wouldn’t have stayed their with younger children."
"It has been awhile since we last stayed in New Haven Hotel. It exceeded our expectations in many aspects, and we would likely come back during our future visits."
