"I would rate Aspen Grand a big fat zero if I could. Upon arrival I realized the hotel was filthy the second I stepped in the lobby. The girl at the front desk was polite, and that’s probably the only good thing I can say about the place. They tried to put us (including my 86 year old grandfather) on the fourth floor which wouldn’t have been an issue, except the elevator was out of service. After some arguing, one of the cleaning staff members informed the attendant that they just finished cleaning a room on the first floor we could have. Except that room wasn’t clean, we realized when we got inside. There was chewed gum in the bathtub, dirt on the bathroom floor, etc. The next morning, we checked out the “breakfast”. There was no coffee. Just milk and two cereal choices. When we asked the man at the counter, he LITERALLY shrugged his shoulders and said “this is what you get for the price”. Maybe Expedia should do a better job vetting places before they advertise them. This place was an absolute dump. Do not come here. "

"The stay was what I needed as a low cost alternative for an overnight stay. In fact it was better than most comparable hotels. "

"First, the good: the guy who checked us in- he was quick and nice. The rest: the guest hallways on our floor (4th) stunk like weed and I don't know what. When we got in our room, the floor was damp and tje fam was going full blast. The room had a weird smell. We got in with our 2 young children at 11p and had to get up earlier so we decided to "tough it out" and hope whatever was going on would.resolve itself. In the morning, still damp. Still funky. We went to our event and got back around 8. Same condition so my husband saw a hotel attendant in the hallway and explained. The attendant said we must have got a "humid room" and that he would bring a dehumidifer...unbelievable. We weighed our options. I tried to find other hotels in the area but with the event in town and late notice, it was difficult. We are considering if we want to escalate this issue as whether a consumer is paying $10 or $100, they deserve a healthy situation. Not a room that is probably growing mold. If they were shampooing the carpet, they shouldn't have rented the room. And if not, something really wrong is going on that they need to fix asap. Not acceptable. Don't stay here."

"The service and people are really great. We loved the breakfast. Our girls were given a treat bag by a sweet staff member who stated they were respectful during breakfast. Everything was super clean. The adjoining rooms are limited so we didn’t get one. There is no hot tub that is pictured. Other than that, it was great!"
