Friendly, helpful staff- I believe most of them, or maybe all, can speak English as well as Japanese. A shared common room area with a fridge and cooking facilities. Beds were okay- at least the privacy was decent. It felt like a capsule hotel- but to be expected for the type of hostel. Bathroom are was clean; showers were good quality, with a strong stream of hot water. Made some great memories with the guests there.
Overall I had a really nice stay at the hostel and would stay again.
I would’ve liked some amenities- even the maps weren’t available, but not a big issue!
