「Good stay. Suite rooms was very roomy. Beds were comfortable. Pool was nice, on the smaller side but worked out great for our 1 night stay.」

「Room was hot and muggy. A/C window until was not working and loud. Called the front desk, they moved us to another room. That room was not so great either. The hotel is dated and needs upgrades. No coffee pot in room, crud around the shower pan, toilet seat worn out, mini fridge interior door shelves broken. Was not pleased at all. When my husband called the front desk to discuss the room, the lady hung up on him. We slept the best we found, got up and left. We’ll never stay there again. ...

「I am not sure if it was just the two rooms we booked, but our rooms were old, needed repairs and not very clean. Our bathtub had packing tape holding together tile on the side. The carpet was very old and needed a deep clean. The sleeper couch looked like it was an original from the opening of the hotel.」

「Was looking forward to having a cabana at the pool however if you want to have access to one, the cost is $150. That was very disappointing. Paid extra for a room with a balcony. My balcony was on the first level (didnt feel safe) with a view to the back of the hotel. Had to ask for additional towels. Very limited towels and no extra tissue in the room.」

We needed to use the pullout sofa bed, but there were no linens provided. We also didn't receive enough towels for the number of guests in our room. 「We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. From beginning to end, the communication was excellent. Our food preferences were asked for, and our instructions for getting there were clearly defined. The breakfast was superb both days, and our chef shared local information and what we might like to see for that day. All the staff were so nice, and the people staying there at the same time as us were equally lovely.」

「Wonderful stay however all the coffee in the room was decaf when we tried to call the front desk the phone didn’t work in the room. Very frustrating for coffee drinkers. It’s not that difficult to have regular coffee, and sugar besides the old school gross sweet n low that no one uses anymore. The food was excellent. Just fix your phones and your coffee.」
