「I always enjoy staying at the Stonefence. They are upgrading the pool area so that wasn't available to swim in, but the beautiful river was! I hope that opening the restaurant will work out for them (they were doing a "soft opening" during the stay). I loved my lunch out on the patio, reading my book and seeing the river.」

「The only complaint that I have is the beds were too hard and made my back ache.」

「Clean room with hot tub in loft. Great view from balcony but alot of spider webbing on balcony seats and railings. Hallways have alot of stained ceiling tiles」

「The house is grand, historic and our room comfortable and regal. Vicki was welcoming and informative and we had full access to the house and bikes to enjoy the surrounding scenery and waterways. We ate breakfast while watching golfers at hole 18. Breakfast was homemade and to our requests. It was a lovely, relaxing, quiet stay.」

「Great hotel for visiting St. Lawrence University and 1,000 Islands region. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean with all the usual amenities. Nice breakfast buffet with hot and cold items. Very pleased with my brief stay and highly recommend this hotel.」
