I’m glad we had the opportunity to stay in a place with such rich historical significance. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the Thousand Islands, which made our stay even more special.

An absolute Stunning property with exceptional service! The hosts were truly one of a kind. Our room/home was extremely clean, quiet and super comfortable. I can honestly say that we had the best nights sleep! It’s a Short walk to Boldt Yacht House where we took the shuttle to Boldt castle. Highly recommend!!

What a beautiful house and great staff, met us at the door gave us a great tour, owner was very responsive and an absolute delight to do business with. If you’re looking somewhere to stay in the Alexandria Bay Area I highly suggest this place! Clean comfy quiet beautiful property. Added bonus is right on a golf coarse also!

Hannah met us when we arrived and had a charcuterie tray and a glass of wine for our enjoyment after our long drive. Accommodations were first rate and breakfasts were outstanding. Would definitely stay again if we are back in the area. Owner Jaimie explained the very interesting history of the house. Overall was a great stay

Had an overall wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back and staying again in the future. Owers were very kind and a pleasure to talk too, they were alo very accommodating and flexible with check-in. After a long drive and later check-in the complimentary glasses of wine and charcuterie board were a wonderful plus and a great start to what was an amazing weekend. The fresh home cooked breakfast was just perfect. We look forward to coming back soon and hopefully having the same wonderful experience.

Beautiful, quiet comfortable property

Lovely room with working gas fireplace. Bed was very comfortable. Service was fantastic from start to finish. They took extra care with our room and really took care of us for breakfast. It was cooked to order both days, and delicious! Kudos to Vicky and Hannah. Area was walkable as well, and very quiet. We would definitely come back.

The Hart House is a beautiful property with a lot of history that our host and proprietor, Jamie, has a passion to tell its story. My bedroom was gorgeous and we had an incredible sleep. The food was delicious and plentiful. Communication with Jamie was stellar. I would love to return next summer.

Wonderful owner, historic home, warm réception with charcuterie and Wine, good breakfast On the low side : irregular water flow, Windows without blinds so you get light very early in the morning. You have to keep in mind this is an old home which has its charm but also its flaws.

Beautiful old estate home of George Boldt carefully moved from Hart Island across the ice to to Wellesley Island to make way for Boldt Castle. Surrounded by golf course and Marina. Nicely decorated large rooms with ensuites. Large common areas including ball room, library, living room. Excellent breakfast. Relaxing.

The house is grand, historic and our room comfortable and regal. Vicki was welcoming and informative and we had full access to the house and bikes to enjoy the surrounding scenery and waterways. We ate breakfast while watching golfers at hole 18. Breakfast was homemade and to our requests. It was a lovely, relaxing, quiet stay.

The Hart Hotel was perfect for us. We wanted a relaxing stay while visiting the Thousand Islands for the first time. The proprietor, Jamie, gave us a few recommendations on places to go. Everything he pointed us to was exactly what we needed...and didn't even know it. His recommendations on dining, places to see, things to do and when to do them worked out perfectly. The rooms were quiet. The prepared breakfast was exquisite. The house and property were perfect for getting away from it all. Thanks Jamie. We'll see you again soon. We're sending parents your way too.
