"The property was located near the airport and close to the Lake Moose lodge which was ideal to walk to. The hotel is not in the best area of town but we were ok. Staff was nice. And the shuttle to airport was much appreciated."
Ramada by Wyndham Anchorage

"We had booked another hotel close to the airport and then read the reviews that said it was dirty and the staff was difficult, so we changed our reservation to the Ramada. We were specifically looking for a hotel with transport to and from the airport. When we called from the airport to request transport we were told that the van was not operable, but they would send a car. However, we were a family group of 11 and it would talk over two hours for the car to make round trips to get us all to the hotel. The receptionist told us to get taxi's, but said they would not compensate us. This is what we did which was an additional expense. The next day I approached the desk to see if they could rent or borrow a van to take us to the airport. This time the receptionist was very willing to work with us and promised to talk to the manager. The manager. Mohamad, called and paid for two Ubers and with the hotel car we made it back to the airport. This hotel is dated and 20 minutes from the airport. But it was within walking distance of the excellent Anchorage museum and we felt they responded positively to our situation."

"Property was clean. Seems to be minimal amenities. No coffee in room however coffee in the lobby. Only bar soap. But all in all good for the money spent"

"John was very courteous, helpful and accommodating. Airport shuttle was a little bit rushed as there was only one driver for the hotel in the busy season. Older hotel located near Merrill airport which tended to be loud at times with overhead planes and jets. A surprising hot breakfast buffet with real food, not powder eggs. Will visit again."

"It's a great place to stay in Eagle River, Alaska. Everything is like brand new. It is extremely clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would like to suggest is that some chairs we put outside of the rooms on the walkway so that three is someplace to sit outside when the weather is nice. We will definitely stay there again. Our next visit to Eagle River."
