Amazing place, with amazing staff. All round a great experience. Latch on our door wasn't working at all, but somehow i still felt safe there.

We were traveling with a 2 month old, so specifically wanted an oceanfront with a balcony so when the baby went to bed we could sit on the balcony to still enjoy the beach. When we arrived in the room, there was still some hair around the sink. I immediately checked the beds for bedbugs. One bed had a mattress protector on the mattress only, while the other bed had nothing which I thought was odd. You could tell the mattresses hadnt been properly cleaned and the sheets fully remade as there were hair and fresh stains on the one bed. We disinfected everything and had our own beeding so we just pushed forward. The second night we went out on the balcony and noticed a black bug and didnt think much of it as we werent out there for long. The next night we doordashed food and planned on a little evening to eat on the balcony since the baby was asleep. We put the food on the table outside and came back to get drinks. We were gone a total of maybe 2 - 3 minutes. By the time we made it back outside there were ROACHES in the food and more coming on the balcony. I had no idea they could even move that fast or accumulate so quickly. I called the front desk stuff and informed him. He advised he was not aware of any issues, but did bring me some raid to spray around. We completely covered the balcony in the raid and sprayed multiple roaches, it did NOTHING. In face two of the roaches ended up running towards us while spraying. Disappointed with the hotel.
