The room was very small! It smelled like mildew there were places in the floor that we thought we’d fall through! Definitely not the room in any of their pictures. The parking lot was in between buildings there was no lighting. The over flow parking lot was across a 4 lane highway with no cross walk. I have pictures I would love to post!

Room looked unswept unpon arriving. I booked a room with a balcony, but was put in a ground floor room. A view of the ocean was blocked by high sand and a fence. Parking was fine, just across the street.

Die Negativbewertungen kann ich nicht bestätigen. Das Haus ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Allerdings war das Zimmer sauber, das Bad war neu gemacht - und wenn man das Bad lüftet und den Ventilator laufen lässt, bekommt man es auch trocken. Fast direkt am Haus beginnt der Boardwalk, auf dem man bis zum Pier wandern kann. Kneipen und Restaurants sind in Fußweite erreichbar.

The room was clean and efforts were made to update but overall I’d be shocked if the rooms and property passed safety inspections. It was probably stated in the listing but when I pay extra for an ocean front room I assume it’s a private balcony. It was not. At the end of the day we were there for the beach and the festival but the accommodations did not match the price paid.

Room was clean. Office and service were friendly and helpful. The place itself is somewhat dated, but a quick weekend away didn’t call for more than a safe and clean place to sleep, which the Seabonay is. Location is great too. True ocean front view with dunes and just a few steps from the boardwalk. Definitely a solid place to stay, especially if you’re gonna be busy in OC and just need somewhere to sleep and clean up.

Room was clean, no issues, staff came by with fresh towels when we needed them. Parking is super easy. Steps to the beach. Easy access to boardwalk and concerts. Staff made sure no one smoked on walk ways/balconies since its a shared walkway. Its nice not stinking from smokers when coming and going from your room. Much appreciated

I refused to stay at this motel, but smell of mildew and mold was obnoxious. The boards leading to the room on the balcony were worn and looked as if they would collapse at anytime. They also did not advertise the fact that they didn't have an elevator. They charged me for a night's stay anyway even though I refused to stay there. Shame on you people, how about taking the time to fix the place up, I'll never, ever make this mistake again. Folks read the reviews, and believe what you read . Replace that dirty ,molded carpet with vinyl flooring. Don't stay at this place, you won't like it and they don't care because they will keep your money. 0 stars from me.

The rooms are outdated and need repairs/replacements of many things. Housekeeping needs to wait until check out at 11:00 a.m. before knocking and walking in to rooms!!!!
