"My stay here was good. Great location and the free parking was a nice touch. I wish they would invest some money into revamping the hotel. The hallways smell like cigarettes, everything needs a paint job. The bed frame was broken. Everything just feels really old and run down. It’s a shame because it’s in such a great location, wish for better for your place. Staff was great though."

"The rooms and common areas were quite clean. The parking lot was well policed and maintained. Breakfast was solid each morning (I stayed four days and ate breakfast every day in the hotel). The location of this hotel is fantastic for exploring the bay area. You can get around by car super easy. But you can also take the Emeryville people-mover-bus (not sure the name) to the MacArthur BART station and then work from there. We drove into the City and Oakland a couple of days, and took BART and other public transit other days. It was a great experience for the whole family. There are parking charges, however."

"This hotel is a good, clean, safe place for the money. However, my room was missing a coffee machine, more than one towel and a grab bar for the shower. The carpet was clean-ish, but worn-looking. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable with fresh linens, the TV worked and there were sufficient plugs for my electronic equipment."

"The place was very outdated, but it was clean. I think that it was clear and a lot of the reviews that you shouldn’t expect much. So maybe that’s why for us. It was OK. The staff was friendly. The view is so pretty from our room. We had a balcony on the bottom floor, and you can see the ducks swimming in the water (to be clear, not the pool that some previous reviewer was claiming). The pool was clean, but cold. If you plan to use the kitchen – the kitchen, where is something like a cutthroat kitchen. We would have to travel with your own cleaner, dish, soap, etc. It was an affordable stay. The breakfast was not what I would even consider cotton until. There was toast, and a few prepackaged pastries cereal was not a kid, friendly cereal. There was a juice that was more like “Tang”. Again, not a five star hotel, but friendly, and as clean as something outdated could be. Super important to note there are only two prong outlets in the room with exception of the kitchen. So if you plan to stay there, bring adapter for your laptop."
