The room may be outdated, but their location is in very convenient area which is right next to the beach and shopping plaza! Their balcony view was very nice as well. Staff is very nice and i was very happy with our stay

Honestly the room was unexpectedly very spacious than the picture. I would say it is convenient that you have somewhere to stay at. Even if it’s just for the night too. If you like fancy this place isn't for you. In my opinion it is worth staying there. The car situation was easy too. Just make sure to lock your doors including the hotel door too. Block it with a chair you never know. Overall everything was good. Nothing bad. We just stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights just for Big Bang which also includes going to sf and sj. So again it’s worth it. It’s not fancy but it isn’t bad either.

Staff were nice. Location was awesome. Near the beach, shops and restaurants. Room is very rundown. Furniture is very old, there was leak from kitchen sink, tv remote was missing, toilet seat won’t stay up, closet doors were all off rails, electric stove didn’t work, carpet pretty dirty. At night you can hear a lot of yelling, loud music, and foot steps. The location really made up for the terrible room.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect,close to everything and very convenient. I also love how safe and comfortable I felt during my visit. Th only small thing was that the cleanliness could hav a little better, but overall it was a very pleasant experience.

We were gone all day, and only slept and showered there. Its quite dated, but in good condition. The only complaint would be the front desk never being answered. Pretty much have to walk down to the lobby. Once you're there though, the staff is very helpful :)

Rooms very outdated, carpets were filthy, wouldn’t use the stove or anything in the kitchen, the beds where old and lumpy, had a musty smell , did have big closets and was spacious, no ice on property, rooms do not look like they do online, the breakfast was yogurt, toast, cereal and a danish. Staff was nice

This was our second time staying here as a family of four. Overall, we had another nice and relaxing stay and would definitely consider coming back again. We stayed in Room 219, which had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The room was reasonably priced and the location is one of the biggest advantages. It’s conveniently located near shopping, businesses, restaurants, and good places to eat, while the beach is also just a short walk away. Having a bowling alley right next door is another great bonus and gives families an easy option for some extra recreational fun without having to travel far. Although the room itself is somewhat dated and could use some aesthetic updating, we appreciated the space and the amenities provided. The floors had some noticeable stains, so I would recommend keeping socks or slippers on while walking around. One feature we especially appreciated was having a cooking burner and oven in the room. It was nice to have the option to prepare a meal ourselves instead of having to eat out for every meal, which is especially helpful when traveling with kids. The beds in Room 219 could use some attention as well. The mattresses felt well-used and had a noticeable dip in the middle. We were still able to sleep okay, but replacing or upgrading the mattresses would definitely improve the overall comfort of the room.

I should have trusted prior reviews of this place as being a bit out-dated and run down, it certainly could use some paint and a little more TLC, however it is in a great location, beach is just across the street, and a nice shopping center with many cute stores/ wide variety of resturaunts and food choices across the other street. Overall, our goal was to just have a place to sleep in between the daily activities, and Coral Reef Inn met that need at a reasonable price.

If you want to get a beautiful lake view, it’s the place to go. The only thing, you don’t get much of a continental breakfast, so bring your own. The bed and couch are also really old, & no smart TV in the bedroom.

Large room with surprise kitchenette. Leaky faucets, tepid water, burned out bulbs, frayed carpeting, sway back beds. Hate to sound so negative. Beautiful location less than half block from bird refuge path and other shopping areas. Certainly the price was right and this is why. Just needs a complete overall! Did not check out the pool area.

Beautiful property. Very clean rooms and very quiet. Less than a minute walk to the beach for a Beautiful sunset with the san francisco skyline. There is a lot of options nearby for bars and restaurants, also a bowling alley with arcade right next door. I would stay here again and again.

If you are on a tight budget, this is a good place. I stayed for a week and it was MUCH cheaper than staying in San Francisco. VERY close to the beach! Only thing in-between is a bowling alley. You can see the sand from the hotel entrance. I will say, the crowd that was staying there the whole time I was there, were VERY disrespectful people. Leaving the pool area a mess for days. Over all, I truly consider this place a life saver. I booked a 10 day stay in san Francisco, in the tenderloin district and as a 5 ft tall 110 pound girl, I was too afraid to even walk the street from parking garage to "hotel". I needed something fast and affordable, and this place was suggested. LOVED the area. Felt very very safe. Lots of super cute places to eat. The cleaning could be a bit better. The staff doesnt speak much English as well. OH AND DONT RELY ON. BREAKFAST to fill you at all. No meat or protein. Bread and maybe 2 cereal choices.
