"The hotel was surprisingly clean and fairly easy to navigate given the circular shape of the building. Valet was well-organized. Front desk staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Cleaning crew was readily available and did an awesome job. The breakfast buffet could be better but the service was good. The views are fairly good but the noise of traffic on the 405, specially throughout the night is awful. Not much can be done about it, except move to a room facing the mountain, forget wanting to have a city view, it’s not worth it. I hoped to use the pool but it lacked a jacuzzi. Overall, it was a good stay, my main issue would be the noise."

"This is our go to hotel when staying in the Santa Monica area. The hotel is conveniently located away from the commercial/congested areas of Santa Monica. We have found the property to be much more reasonably priced than all other alternative hotels. The common areas are slightly dated and in need of a spruce up, but they are nice enough to be completely acceptable as well. The rooms themselves are more than adequate, and they are impeccably cleaned. We want to give a special shout out to the tremendous staff at the Hyatt Centric Delfina - they are all absolutely terrific. Front desk staff are super helpful and always handle check-in in a friendly and efficient manner. The staff at the restaurant/bar in the lobby are truly fantastic, and the food is actually quite good (particularly breakfast). Make sure you stop by and say hello to Carlos. Carlos is the main man behind the counter at the lobby restaurant, and he is a true gem! I am nominating Carlos as the official ambassador for the hotel. He is not only knowledgeable about everything pertaining to the hotel and the surrounding area, but he is as warm, friendly and engaging of a person as you will find anywhere!"
