「We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). 「We only had a single night as we celebrated my wife's birthday, but we feel we chose very well. A relaxing location with an absolutely phenomenal restaurant. The cabin was clean, the staff are super friendly and responsive, and my wife and another friend both loved the spa treatments. We'll be back to the restaurant for sure, but another stay will also be in our future.」
