「Trop bien ! Vaut le détour !」

「Great value. Good choice. Verypleased」

「Lovely spot, staff excellent, homemade, organic and locally sourced breakfast. Lacked an evening restaurant and options in Chinon in October were a little limited as off season. Great location to explore Chinon wines and Cremant near Saumur. Fontevraud-l’Abbaye was an interesting place to visit.」

「Cannot praise this highly enough - second visit and it gets better every time. Wonderful welcome, Tabled’Hote meal, tranquility and accommodation. Completely faultless. Highly recommended. 」

「Charming characterful property, beautiful room. We loved the donkey and meeting Sandrine and her family. Delicious breakfast, would highly recommend.」

「We enjoyed our brief, one night stay. Staff were welcoming and accommodating, the room was clean and airy (and the bed super comfortable!), and we enjoyed a pleasant meal in the restaurant. Any first impressions that the property and environment are a little ‘tired’ were quickly dispelled by the welcome and the ambience. The house is set in lovely and large grounds, just right for an evening stroll」

「Many things were not acceptable in regards to our room. The windows did not open fully due to the curtains blocking them and it was stifling hot. and when we tried to manipulate them, we were afraid they would break. The daily housekeeping was unacceptable - coffee cups were left dirty in the room, the bathroom didn't appear to have been cleaned at all, and in the bathroom the windows did not shut properly. The water from the shower went all over the floor. In the middle of our stay, we found a...
