Very nice stay

Very nice stay. Property is very charming and certainly rural and quiet. Restaurant very good for dinner. Breakfast was ok. Bed very good. Bathroom a little dated.

The effort to make each set of rooms feel time authentic yet have all the mod cons was amazing. We had dinner, a three course set meal which offered great choice and excellent food, service and all round experience. Would definitely return a d recommend to all.

This is a special property! Dog and family friendly, food was superb and atmosphere is so peaceful. The pool area is very nice and we'll thought put. Special touches everywhere. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure!

We booked a romantic room but instead received the key of a completely different room. It wasn’t expected. The bed was comfortable but the bedroom atmosphere was cold. I would suggest to install some draperies and a large rug to make it more appealing at least. We enjoyed the breakfast and service in the morning. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday but we made reservations at a lovely restaurant down the street called vert vert. It was excellent.

Chateau exploring

We had a two night stay and enjoyed it but no kettle or tv in our room seemed a bit odd. Like most of France arriving on a Sunday makes it hard to find any where to eat the same on Monday night. We found it a good base to explore the chateau’s of the Loire area

Séjour d'une nuit, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, jacuzzi et sauna. La propriété est bien entretenue et les installations sont au niveau d'un 3 étoiles. L'accueil a été agréable et l'on ressent l'ambiance familiale. Le petit musée sur la savonnerie accolé au domaine vaut le détour.

Le domaine est un établissement situé au abords de FONTEBRAUD. La zone de stationnement est est vaste car le domaine également un restaurant. L'accès ce fait par un porche. Une boutique de savonnerie et atelier dédié au savons y sont présentes. La chambre que nous avons eu est très spacieuse (car séjour 3 jours).. Nous avons appréciés les commodités du petit déjeuner avec produits terroirs et la piscine. Autour de l'établissement possibilité de promenades pédestre et vélo. Et surtout l'accès facile aux châteaux de la Loire sur un rayons de 50 kms

Moins bien qu’il y a 6 ans. J’avais découvert ce lieu par hasard et j’avais été comme émerveillée. J’ai pris la même chambre= suite 8. Il y a eu des rénovations . Très bien. Mais quelque chose du charme que j’avais ressenti a disparu. De plus il y a une odeur désagréable que je ne peux définir. Sans doute manque d’aération. Ce que j’ai fait en arrivant. Pour l’ameublement il manque une table. L’unique chaise était inutilisable car le paillage était troué. Apparemment manque de personnel car on a dû attendre le lendemain pour avoir une chaise utilisable. Pour une suite il manque un ou 2 petits fauteuils/ chaises, une table, repenser l’aménagement, de tout l’espace, on se sent étouffer dans la petite pièce où se trouve le grand lit. Pas de bon réseau. Pas de télé. Il manque sourire,bonjour et bonne humeur du patron et patronne de l’établissement. Point positif = piscine et jacuzzi. Petit déjeuner très bien.
